The Lion Heart Half Marathon is a benefit run with a mission beneficiary is the Lion’s Club of Woodward. The Lion’s Cub is 501(c)3 non-profit who’s mission is to provide annual scholarship to local high schools students, provide local eyeglass assistance to Woodward Citizens in need, annually donate to the Woodward United Fund, Woodward County Christmas Toy Giveaway, Woodward Arts Theater, the Woodward Plains and Pioneer Museum and more. We are an affiliate of the International Association of Lion Clubs.

“NIGHT ATTACK” will consist of several new obstacles, a re-engineered course, and never done before night option. This race will challenge all aspects and levels of fitness. Its prime location will make for a short trip home. Show up in your brightest gear, or patriotic colors. Don’t be afraid to get crazy,we encourage creativity.

FREE Fun Run/Walk will be held following the timed run – approx start time is 10AM.
No pre-registration is required and you will not get an official chip time.
Strollers and pets are welcome in the Fun Run/Walk only.

Get ready to have a great Memorial weekend. Join others for the 5K race and Fun Run. Early registration begins March 14, 2013 and will end May 24, 2013. Same day registration will begin at 7:00 AM. Join the festivities after the race. All kinds of food, vendors, carnival and car show. Let the race begin.


This will be the Inter-Tribal Diabetes 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run’s first year. The run will be unlike any other in the area. Proceeds from the race will benefit The Native Youth Preventing Diabetes (NYPD) NYPD offers a week long camp each year for native youth 8-12 to learn about Diabetes and steps for prevention.
